Tips for organizing the jewelry studio: gemstones

Here’s a handy little tip for the studio. In my recent www.craftcast.com class Renaissance Replay, the project called for LOTS and LOTS of gemstones. I used to keep gemstones organized by using  triangular bead trays. The problem is that if you have a lot of gemstones you used a lot of trays. To make thing more efficient I found the creative substitute. A small artists paint palette. I can organize my gemstones by size, or color and transport them from one area of my bench to the next. Good bye to all those triangular trays. Hello to easy organization.
