Shadowboxes
Instructor: Patrik Kusek
April 21 & 22
10am – 5pm
Contact Randi at 360.568.7709, Randi@ArtatTheRanch.com
Join us for another terrific weekend with PMC and Patrik! Learn round and marquis shaped shadowbox construction and mold making. Bring a couple of tiny treasures – no larger than 3/4”- we’ll make molds from these treasures to put into your shadowbox. You will learn how to make a tendril or branch bail and you’ll also learn how to apply a beautiful patina to your designs to give them additional depth and character.
And, for additional fun let’s do a texture swap! Bring items to make texture plates from – fabric scraps, things from the hardware store, big leaves, what ever. Bring some extra mold compound and throughout the 2 days we’ll make molds of each other’s textures. This is optional but I encourage your participation cuz it’s fun!
Course # 124212 $255. (Materials list to follow)

I love your shadow boxes. They have so much depth and texture. Really nice work.
Thanks Roberta! It’s been a fun exploration and I’m still making new shapes and designs. Stay tuned!
