Spent the all day Thursday at Rio Grande with Virginia. I got a chance to tour the facility and see how things are done. I also had a chance to meet some people that I have only heard about. I got a chance to meet the people on the creative team who do the ads and website and packaging. My old area of expertise. Also had a chance to visit the tech team and see where they work. Rio is an amazing company. In my previous career as an art director I had a chance to observe many companies and corporate cultures first hand. Rio by far is one of the best companies. It seems well run and they seem to care about their employees. Everyone there seemed genuinely happy. I happy to be associated with such a great company and such a great team.
