The Woodland Chic Design Team welcomes Lora Hart!

Lora Hart has been an influence in my life from the first time I heard her speak at the PMC Conference in Purdue so many years ago. Not in a hands on way, but just by being her lovely herself.

I was new to metal clay and was devouring everything the metal clay community had to offer. During the “Show and Sell” portion of the conference,  she was kind enough to purchase one of my pieces. I was thrilled! She even encouraged me to write an article about the pendant. I was so flattered that she would even suggest it 🙂 Little did she (or I) know just how many articles, tutorials and blog posts I would eventually write! Lora has written her fair share of articles and blog posts as well. Lora is the Artistic Advisor on the Senior Education Staff at PMC Connection an writes for Cornerstone the PMC Connection Blog.  Check out this interesting article on the way light interacts with metal clay. To my students… you all know what I’m talking about…that white stuff that is scratched off of metal clay…NOT. Lora does a fantastic job in explaining exactly what it is so check out her blog article.

I’m thrilled to welcome Lora as part of the design team. I can’t wait to share with you what she has created!
