My friend and fellow Saul Bell Recipient, Sherry Cordova, and I were at lunch the other day and started talking about all of the talented jewelry and metal artists there were in the Bay Area. We came up with the idea of putting together a show and sale based on the idea of “Artists on the Verge”…but on the verge of what? we asked? On the verge of being discovered? On the verge of greatness? On the verge of insanity!!!?? We thought it would be fun to showcase different artists idea of being on the verge. Define it as you will. What does VERGE mean to you?
