What can I say about this weeks featured artist. Alison Lee is the creative powerhouse behind www.craftcast.com. She’s also an accomplished artist, proud mother of a very talented son and someone I’m happy to call a friend.
Alison took plain cuffs and transformed them into something interesting by using traditional and non-tradition methods. The next time you are looking for a new and different surface treatment trying experimenting with embossing powders, metalic powders and paints from the craft store. These decidedly low tech approaches are creative, fun and open up a world of possibilities. Look for paints that are specifically made for jewelry as they are more durable and hold up to wear and tear.
